It is part of the civil parish of Broadstairs and St Peter's, which includes St Peter's, and had a population in 2011 of about 25,000. Situated between Margate and Ramsgate, Broadstairs is one of Thanet's seaside resorts, known as the "jewel in Thanet's crown". Getting Around: The best way to come is to take the high speed train to/from London. We can provide additional suggestions on the best way to get to the property on request. If you are coming by car, there's an area nearby facing the beach where it's pay and display parking, but please note that there is no parking at the cottage. Other Things to Note: Our property can be accessed totally contact-free. Our on-site lockboxes and online and on the phone support mean that you can arrive quickly, easily and socially distanced. Before your arrival we will send you all the details you need to check in to the property including any access codes and the code for the lock box to access the keys. This will arrive via email a few days before your stay. We are also only a short email or phone call away should you need us to answer any questions you have about the property or local area. Please note that the stairs leading up to the bedroom and bathroom are quite steep so Ethelbert Cottage may not be appropriate for those with mobility issues.
