This charming holiday home with private pool and beautiful views of the heart of the Hérault countryside, near the village of Pierrerue, offers a lot of privacy and tranquillity. The pool terrace offers a gorgeous and relaxing view of the varied landscape of the Saint-Chinian Valley. Perfect for a holiday filled with rest and relaxation, whilst enjoying a delicious glass of wine from the local winery. From the living room, you have direct access to the pool terrace, as well as one of the bedrooms. The villa’s pool is on the right of the property and is surrounded by beautiful terraces with garden, sun loungers and parasol. The big stone barbecue is at the edge of the terrace. From this holiday rental, beautiful walks and tours are close by: Pierrerue is a small village on the hills, with a magnificent view of the valley of Saint-Chinian. There are many different walking routes through the Regional Natural Park of Haut Languedoc, museum visits, bike paths, and not far from there are a canoe-kayak centre, a mini-farm, various pleasant markets and the beach about 45 minutes away. In the village itself, there is a large number of wine producers where you can purchase wine directly. You can do your shopping in Saint-Chinian, 2km, where there is a market held twice a week (Thursday and Sunday mornings). The beautiful village of Roquebrun, 9 km, Bize-Minervois 15 km, Minerve and Olargues, which are listed as amongst the most beautiful villages in France are an absolute must see. Beziers and Narbonne which are both superb and unmissable cities are less than 25km away. Less than 40km away, Pézenas, the city of Molière, the Cirque (valley) of Mourèze, the spa town of Avène and the seaside town of Gruissan also deserve a visit. Further, Carcassonne and even Spain are just waiting to be explored. Please note that: Bed linen and towels are not included in the room rate.
