Situated on the outskirts of Ryde, around a 15 minute walk from the Hovercaft and fast cat and on the road to Fishbourne for the car ferry, Gwydyr House is ideally situated for a speedy arrival and ideal location to explore the Island. A 10 minute walk, to the town centre offers access to all the shops, bars and restaurants, whilst being slightly away from town, means a large garden to enjoy and ample parking Gwydyr House is a beautiful 150 year old cottage, originally part of the manor house and visited by Queen Victoria in the last year of her life, now a stunning newly refurbished holiday home. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, Master (kingsize), twin room (or superking) a double room and a family bathroom The garden is split into 3 sections, the deck from the house for outdoor living and alfresco dining, complete with a cabana. Down the steps its a garden laid to grass for kids and pets to play. The final end of the garden offers a fountain and summer house, great to enjoy in the day or for the kids to 'camp out' at in the summer nights.
