Turn of the century Victorian Cottage-easy downtown London commute! Located in East Croydon which is South London in the borough of Croydon, just two block walk to East Croydon Station. Enjoy our cozy British home! Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with shower. Downstairs are living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry, and toilet. Private & fully fenced back yard with BBQ and seating. The best part of our home is the easy access to anywhere in England. Travelcard zone 5 for trains and Travelcard zone 4 for trams. Less than 15 minute train to London Bridge or Victoria Station. Direct tram to Wimbledon and shopping areas. This is a traditional British Victorian built at the turn of the century. This very cozy space has been updated for modern convenience. Rooms and halls are smaller and representative of the era. Bedrooms have 1 king size bed, 1 double bed, and one single bed. All bedrooms have linens and extra blankets provided. Enjoy all of the original fireplaces and moldings to appreciate architecture of the time. Kitchen is stocked with all cookware and dining utensils. Kitchen appliances include: Refrigerator, gas cooktop, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, Tassimo coffee machine, french press, & electric tea kettle. Laundry is available for guest use and has a combination washer/dryer, iron and ironing board. There is a nice English garden in the back yard with table, chairs, and BBQ to enjoy on a nice day. This home has free WIFI, Smart TV, DVD player, DVD's, games and books. Check-in is anytime after 2:00 pm and check out is by 11:00 am. Early check-in or late check-out can be requested (subject to availability) for additional £20 fee. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. There is no parking at the house. Our street has metered parking only. Whole house access, kitchen includes: refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, tea kettle and fully equipped for cooking. House has washer/dryer, TV, wifi, back yard & BBQ. We do not live in the area, so can only answer questions through airbnb. The next door neighbor is available to help with any immediate issues while you are staying. Easy 2 minute walk to East Croydon Station, Trams, Croydon Box Park, Restaurants, and plenty of shopping nearby. Short 2 block walk to East Croydon Station with fast and frequent trains into central London. There are also frequent trains to London Gatwick airport, a mere 11 minutes on the Gatwick Express train! Direct tram link light railway system to Wimbledon, home of the famous lawn tennis Championships. Brighton seaside is less than 30 minutes away from with its famous pebble beach, Regency architecture and Brighton Pier. Go across street to Cedar Road. Home is on the left. All bedrooms are upstairs, Fireplaces are inoperable and only decorative. Do NOT use fireplaces.
