Unit 6 is a 140 sq m apartment on 3-4 levels. Access is through a lock box. As soon as your booking is confirmed we send you the code to get into the box to uplift your apartment entrance keys and your bedroom key. Do not loose the keys as failure to return then at the end of your stay will incur an extra charge. Level 1 contains the ENSUITE bedroom, the entrance-way, the internal 1 car garage, the clothes washing area, the rear door to a small courtyard with expandable washing line, and the hallway leading to level 2. Level 2 at the top of the first set of carpeted stairs is what we call the service area. It contains the KITCHEN, THE DINING AREA and the LOUNGE AREA. This space is shared by all guests. Level 3 is reached by climbing the second set of stairs up to BEDROOM 2 and BEDROOM 3 ( your hosts) or yours if you want to rent the entire place. (application only) There's also a large shared bathroom with shower toilet and basin/ mirror. Level 4 is the loft reached by moveable stairs inside the hosts bedroom. Its currently off limits as it needs safety work performed. The view of the city is great from this small room. Every level is fully carpeted except areas where you would expect to have lino or water resistant floor coverings. There are panel heaters or heat pumps where needed, for guest use in colder weather. The level 2 area also sports a 65" Sony TV with soundbar... where guests can watch FREE NETFLIX movies or hook up their own game consoles. WIFI is open to all guests with unlimited DATA available. Outside there's an outdoor car park at the end of the unit. (Do not park in other apartment owners spaces) If our unit 6 park is full you need to go and find a suitable park on the road. We are 3 mins walk from the best Children's playground in Christchurch. Its the MARGARET MAHY PLAYGROUND found on Manchester St just around the corner from our unit. There's a fantastic Street 5 mins walk away called NEW REGENT ST containing 22 speciality shops and a beauty PUB called CASA PUBLICA . The Christchurch Central City Tram runs through this street and you can also ride it for a fee. Anything you need to know about Christchurch then you simply ask the host.
