Our 2 bedroom Gite in a 400 year old watermill finished with a smart modern twist. Comfortably sleeping 4 people. This Gite used to house the grinding stone for the mill. Now provides a large open plan living and kitchen area downstairs, 2 bedrooms with 1 x superking which can be converted into 2 x single beds and 1 x king bedroom and a bathroom upstairs with shower, toilet and basin - including a hairdryer. Arcana is equiped with TV in English and French. Enjoy the large fully equipped kitchen, which features oven, cooktop, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. A kettle, toaster and coffee machine are provided. Gas BBQs in the shared gardens with outdoor furniture. There is private gated parking for one vehicle and secured cycle storage if required. Situated just 4km from Jarnac and 10km from Cognac in the Grand Champagne Cognac region. The property is situated in a small friendly village with a boulangerie 200mtrs from the Gites. The complex consists of 4 gites with a large shared garden next to the river and the mill stream. The conversion was completed in 2016 and features a contemporary interior whilst maintaining the external character. Each gite has a fully equiped kitchen and large comfortable rooms. There is central heating through out to keep you toasty warm for winter breaks. Television in french and english, DVD and a dedicated WIFI is provided free of charge.
