Our apartment in Pomena comfortably fits up to three persons. The space Our family owned house is situated in a lovely and peaceful village Pomena on the island of Mljet which is the eighth largest and greeniest Croatian island. It is characterized by a Mediterranean climate, dry summers and mild winters and is one of the sunniest Adriatic islands. House is situated just 50 m from the sea and 300m from lakes. Ancient Greek poet Homer writes about this island in Odysee, and how he had sailed in this region. Apostle Paul mentions this island on his voyage through Adriatic and visits the island on his way to Rome. Just as the destiny brought many visitors to this island throughout centuries, today’s visitors are coming to experience stillness of Mljet. Apartment, 30sqm big, offers cozy bedroom with duble bed and exit on private, furnished balcony, fully equipped kitchenette and bathroom with shower. Kitchenette provides fridge, coffee maker, microwave, stove and kitchen utensils. Balcony offers great sea view and view on village. Services with a surcharges: baby cot breakfast pets Being located just over 15 minutes walk to Malo Jezero (Small Lake) of Mljet National Park, the village is the main entry point to the Park. Nowadays it has its hotel, a couple of restaurants and coffee bars, grocery and souvenir shops, agencies etc… As a bay, is a very safe place for anchorage, being sheltered by a tiny island of Pomestak, which acts as a local naturist beach too. Pomena is also a port where one will arrive if you take a day trip to Mljet by fast ferry from Korcula, Hvar, Split, Brac, or Dubrovnik.
