The surrounding area is ideal for guests wishing to enjoy a wine cellar tour and sample some of the products from the local vineyards. The village of Barolo is well worth a visit (25km away), as is Dogliani (25km) and Alba (38km), which is also konwn as the capital of white truffles. The enchanting town of Monforte is roughly 23km away. The area is popular with hikers and bikers - especially the bar to bar route which follows a 124km trails from Barbaresco to Barolo.
