The roads to this amazing home are very steep and can become icy when it's cold or snows. Bring chains no matter what! You'll have amazing lake views from this beautifully remodeled house, Altitude Adjustment Lodge! Surrounded by forest land and nestled in the mountains above Lake Tahoe, you will enjoy privacy and true relaxation in this comfortable mountain log cabin. Altitude Adjustment Lodge is bathed in natural light and offers views of Lake Tahoe and the mountains from nearly every room in the home. Cave Rock State Park and the sandy shores of Lake Tahoe are just 1.2 miles away. Take a short 3.5 mile drive to Zephyr Cove where there is a larger beach, water activities, snowmobiling, horseback riding, and delicious restaurants by the water. Stateline is 7.5 miles away, where you can find Heavenly Village and the casinos. The stylish living room welcomes you with a wood-burning stove, 55" Smart TV, workspace desk, and comfortable seating. Make some hot cocoa and gather around to play a game or stream your favorite Netflix, Hulu, or Disney specials! From here, you can access the spacious deck, with views of the blue waters of Lake Tahoe and the Heavenly Village. The deck is furnished with patio dining and a gas BBQ grill. Don't forget to take a soak in the hot tub and enjoy the stars after a fun day on the mountain, at the Lake, or in town. The kitchen is equipped with a drip coffee maker, toaster, blender, and many more amenities to make you feel right at home. Even while in the kitchen, you'll have views of the lake! Gather around the dining room over a homemade meal and make memories with family and friends. The home has 4 bedrooms, furnished with Tempur-Pedic mattresses. Three bedrooms are located on the upper level and the fourth bedroom is on the middle level. The main suite holds a California King bed, TV, access to the deck via a large patio door, and an en suite bathroom. The en suite bathroom has dual sinks and a standing shower. The other two bedrooms on the main level both have Queen beds. There is a shared full bathroom with a walk-in shower by the guest bedrooms. The fourth bedroom is located downstairs and has 4 Twin beds, great for the kids. There is a small kids' nook that is perfect for reading books or play time. The ceilings are low in this room. Other things to note: - This home is best for a family with kids as the 4th "kids bedroom" has low ceilings and is really meant for children. - There is driveway parking for 3 cars and space in the garage for 1 vehicle (with an J1772 EV charger). - To access the home, you will have to go up 2 flights of stairs, so it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
