This charming holiday home with a heated private pool and enclosed garden is located in Creissan, one of Languedoc’s many wine-making villages. You will be 25km away from beaches, 19km from Béziers and half an hour only from Narbonne. This modern villa lies in the countryside, surrounded by typical Mediterranean scrubland, among the remains of what used to be a castle and a 12th Century church. This friendly town allows for many activities such as tennis, French boules, cycling or hiking trails and horse riding. Dinner dances and picnics take place all year round. In August, one can even find an open-air cinema ! This contemporary and luminous villa has big bay windows that give onto the beautiful sunlit terrace that surrounds a heated swimming pool equipped with under water lighting (10 x 4m). The attractive outdoor furniture is waiting for you to relax in it. You will enjoy the covered terrace providing not only shade but a great spot to eat the many regional specialties you’ll find along the way such as shellfish from l’Etang de Thau, Mediterenean fish, Languedoc’s variety of cured meats, melons, chestnuts, goats cheese, honey, Olargues’ cherries, olive oil … and to top it all off a small glass of St-Chinian, a locally produced wine. Inside, the modern living room offers three luxurious sofas and a surround sound system. As for the open plan kitchen, it is equipped with all the necessary utensils to ensure a comfortable stay. Among the 4 bedrooms, the biggest has its own en-suite bathroom with shower, twin vanity sink and toilet as well as a big closet. Outside there is a carport that can welcome up to three vehicles. Creissan is a good starting point for sunny walks in Haut Languedoc’s natural parks and along the sea with its beautiful beaches such as Sérignan and Valras, only a thirty minute drive away. The Canal du Midi is not to be missed if you are looking for shaded walks along the riverbank or cruises on board a license free boat.
