Greenwich Country House, Spectacular scenery

Escape the hustle and bustle of city life and unwind at Greenwich House, a fully self-contained spacious house offering your family a unique holiday experience. We are only a 2 hour drive to Sydney and Wollongong and 80 minute drive to Canberra. Consisting of 5 bedrooms with king, queen, double and single beds can sleep up to 10 adults. The house has a fully equipped modern kitchen (with dishwasher, coffeemaker, electric stove, oven, etc), 3 bathrooms, a well-desighed living room, big veranda with outdoor furnitures and BBQ facilities. And no country house experience would be complete without your own fireplace in cold seasons. Throw a log on the fire, sit back and enjoy the magnificent country view that has a inspiring scenery for budding artists and photographers. We offer pet friendly accommodation and pets are most welcome by prior arrangement. We also have a separate dog cannel if your dog is an outside dog. The house has a good mobile reception and 4G internet coverage. The neighbourhood: Our delightful modern luxurious spacious house is situated in Greenwich Park within close proximity to the historic township of Marulan and Australia's first inland city of Goulburn. Goulburn is a regional rural centre incredibly rich in heritage and natural beauty. The city and surrounding towns combine country hospitality and urban accessibility. In Goulburn you can visit Historic Waterworks Museum, Rocky Hill War Memorial and Museum, Goulburn Regional Art Gallery, Goulburn Rail Heritage Centre, St Saviour’s Cathedral, Saints Peter and Paul’s Old Cathedral, Garroorigang Historic Home, Riversdale Historic Homestead and more and more. From sunsets, landscapes, events, nature and attractions there is plenty to discover around Greenwich Country House. The region is a place of natural beauty and vast country landscapes, offering a diverse range of outdoor experiences within, from the more relaxed through to the more adventurous for those with more of a wild side. If you’re into caving, Bungonia National Park is the home to some of the deepest caves in Australia, drawing in canoying, abseiling and rock-climbing enthusiasts. If you are interested in bush walking, within relatively close proximity to Penrose State Forest, Morton National Park, Bungonia National Park, there are many wonderful walks to be taken.You can also have mild walk around the property. If you're into wine visit the vineyard and cellar door at Kingsdale Wines overlooking soles Dam and the rolling hills of the tablelands and also Goulburn Brewery. Bowral, Mittagong, Moss Vale and Goulburn are only 20 to less than an hour drive from our location.
