Visit "The Grandis" and see the tallest tree in the southern hemisphere only 15 minutes from the house. Minimim stay 3 nights or longer preferred. Sleeps 4 couples in separate rooms with 2x additional single top bunk beds. Three toddler stretcher beds and cots available. All villages have a great selection of cafes and restaurants as well as fabulous gift shops for you to enjoy. A short scenic 15min drive takes you to the beautiful coastal towns of Forster and Tuncurry for great dining and even more shopping experiences. Art Trail and Markets last Sunday of each month. See dolphins, whales and oyster farms.... See dolphins daily at every beach and whales passing our verandah from May to October. Beautiful shady nature walks in every direction from the house all with views over the lake and ocean. Your small pets will love running along the foreshore of Smiths Lake and paddling in the lake. Several beautiful beaches, lakes, parks and coffee shops and restaurants are all within 5 minutes drive from the house. Pets are family too.... A max. of two small dogs welcome if clean and flea free on arrival for hygiene reasons. Pets must be well behaved and stay with owners at all times. Pets cannot be left unattended at Cellitos at Smiths Lake. No puppies or large dogs permitted due to previous experience with severe lawn and furniture damage. Feel the festive spirit at Christmas time.... For the whole month of December each year we have on display our lovely Christmas tree and lots of singing xmas muppets around the house to amuse the whole family. Peak holiday times are usually booked out 8months in advance so book early. Shop locally or online before you come.... We now have a new Foodworks supermarket less than 5mins away. As an additional convenience for time poor parents we can email you the local fruit and vege, butcher forms or you can place your Woolies orders 2weeks in advance to be delivered to the house on your arrival day. Woolworths do not deliver over the busy Xmas school holidays unfortunately due to high population influx. Extra special care of the little ones.... There are 2xcots, high chairs, change mats and toys etc. and even 3x smaller colourful stretcher beds (for hire) for toddlers learning to sleep in "big beds". Plenty of books, toys, movies and games for children of all ages so no need to bring any of these items. Bath seat for newborns and bath toys available. Home cooking & catering experiences.... Kitchen facilities are first class with rice steamer, wok, Nespresso machine, new Westinghouse double oven and much more. All your plastic needs for catering for kids are supplied. The kitchen is stocked like your home or better. Private Chefs available if guests are wishing to cater for special celebrations such as intimate or themed dinner parties, small private cocktail party, family reunions, high teas, valentines or anniversaries etc.. please ask Debe for details to discuss menus or specialty cakes directly with Chefs and caterers. White sandy beaches and crystal clear water.... Cellitos, Boomerang, Blueys, Elizabeth and Shelly Beaches are all within 5 minutes drive from the house. Walk to the lake which is directly below our home to access our canoe. Elizabeth Beach and Boomerang Beach are patrolled with flags and lifesavers in peak holiday periods only. On most days Elizabeth Beach is a very safe beach to take the family to as it is more protected from deeper ocean currents than the other beaches. Visit beautiful Seal Rocks..... Go for another short, scenic 12min drive to Seal Rocks and explore the beautiful No. 1 Beach, Boat Beach and Lighthouse Beach. Walk up to the lighthouse and enjoy the views and read about the history of the shipwrecks. Boating, fishing and swimming..... We provide our guests with written directions to visitor hot spots, fishing and boating maps and general information about all water activities in the area. You won't be left floundering!!! We can even provide safe parking for your boat and fish cleaning areas. Frothey Coffee has boats and catamarans for half and full day hire to access the lake and sandbar via the water. Paddle around the corner in our canoe and stop off at Frothey Coffee one of our local cafes on the water for brunch or lunch. The kids can fish feed off the deck from here. Its also right next to our small park and play area. Spoil yourself..... We can arrange for local Massage Therapists, Beauticians, Nail Technicians, Hairdressers, Babysitters and Yoga and Relaxation Classes etc. to be held at Cellitos at Smiths Lake. Please discuss with Debe to arrange. Walk down the road to your Yoga class. Herb garden and local Markets.... Our small garden will provide you with plenty of mandarins and oranges when in season and some herbs for the bbq. Local markets on the last Sunday of each month. Suitability...... Elderly parents are welcome. We have 8 steps and then a landing then another 8 steps to reach the living room. Once in its basically level living with only one or two steps dividing zones. Hand rails are mounted near all steps and a sensor light is above the stairwell which automatically comes on every night when someone nears the stairwell. Security gauzes near all bunk beds and windows. Safety first for kids at Cellitos at Smiths Lake. CELLITOS ON SMITHS DOES NOT CATER FOR SCHOOLIES GROUPS OR LARGE PARTY GROUPS. We are in a residential area and have great neighbours with small kids. Our Council is very strict on noise control. We cater for families with small children. Sleeping arrangements...... Cellitos at Smiths Lake can cater for up to 10 people max. In beds. 2x cots and high chairs also available at no charge. Max cars x5 per booking. MASTER Bedroom 1x queen size bed boasting full panoramic views over the lake, sandbar, ocean and Seal Rocks. Walk in robe and twin shower polished porcelain ensuite. TV wall unit. OFFICE off Master Bedroom this is a dedicated office ,however, it is also ideal as a nursery for use with our cot (no extra charge) or craft and art room for kids. BED 2 sleeps 3 This room includes bunk bed with double bed on bottom and single on top. TV DVD and some games. In this room they can watch their movies and just fall asleep and stay where they lay. BED 3 sleeps 3. Bunk beds with double lower bunk and single on top. Plenty of small childrens toys, blocks, games and books. BED 4 has 1x Queen size bed overlooking very sunny entertainment area and pool. TV and plenty of wardrobe space. Fees and Charges are for Full House/sleeping 10: Enquire for discounts for smaller guest numbers in families. All Linen and cleaning costs included. You only need to bring your beach towels. Early and late checkouts..... I will let guests know if they can arrive early and often permit late 3pm checkouts if no other guests arriving that day - no charge if house left clean and tidy.
