A perfect central destination for outdoor enthusiasts and families to discover the beautiful beaches, Harbour, walking and cycle tracks etc. Just down the road is a walking track to beautiful Otarawairere Bay, a secluded beach only accessible on foot or by kayaks, the track also leads you to New Zealands most loved beach "Ohope Beach" so safe to swim and enjoy all water sports. From land based fishing experiences to adventuring out to sea, the boat ramp is only 1.9km away.The Whakatane golf club is less than 10 minutes away as is the Awakeri thermal Hot Springs. Cities, Tauranga and Rotorua are only 1 hours drive away for more attractions. TV with unlimited wifi to watch Netflix if you are relaxing indoors. Outdoor furniture for 10 on the huge deck makes for great indoor/ outdoor flow. Please note this is NOT a party house, NO loud music, no one on the deck after 10 pm only inside voices only.
