Also across the road, take the Alex-Mooloolaba foreshore scenic track, winding alongside the beach and Alex's impressive surf break, high on the hill for its breathtaking views, after 15-20 minutes you'll arrive at Mooloolaba, with its bustling strip of cafes, dining, shopping, wharf and gorgeous beach. The walk is well lit and populated from 8 am to 8 pm, so safety isn’t a huge concern for the lone walker. There is a reliable and frequent bus service with bus stop right out the front of the Resort. Its only a few minutes ride to famous Cotton Tree, Sunshine Plaza, Mooloolaba Restaurants and Sea Life Aquarium. If you have a car its approx 30 minutes from Australia Zoo and 30 minutes from Eumundi market. Take a drive to the sleepy towns of Maleny and Montville for a relaxed walk through the villages and lunch or Devonshire afternoon tea.
