The Pippins is a gorgeous 2 bedroom Cotswolds character cottage which has recently been lovingly renovated. With it's stone walls and beams, this 200 year old cottage combines character with a modern finish. It's situated in a quiet no through lane but is only a two minute walk into Stow with it's shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. It also benefits from private off-road parking for 2 cars. It's the perfect place for a spot of quiet relaxation with all the conveniences on your doorstep. The Pippins is named after the apple tree that stands proudly at the entrance to the property. The pretty garden is at the front but is still very private. It is south facing and so benefits from the sun all day, with a table and chairs for alfresco dining. There is also a rear courtyard which again is set for outdoor dining and a charcoal barbeque. Entry into the cottage is via the beautiful dining area with it's stone walls and old bread oven. It has an old pine table and chairs for four. The modernised kitchen is adjacent and comprises of an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer. Next door is the cosy living room with panelled walls and a stone fireplace housing a wood-burner style gas fire. There are two comfy sofas, flatscreen television with Now TV Cinema Pass subscription and DVD player. The rear hall has a coat rack and cupboard for games and this leads to the winding staircase. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms which overlook the garden. The larger of these rooms has a Superking bed which can be split into 2 single beds if required (please enquire when booking). It has a wooden floor and fitted wardrobe. Next door is a carpeted room with a king size bed, chest of drawers and fitted wardrobe. The bathroom is well equipped with a large shower and luxurious roll-top bath, perfect for a long evening soak. There is a desk on the landing for anyone who may need space to work. The cottage also benefits from a utility room, with a washing machine, drying rack and space for muddy boots for after long country walks. There is Wi-fi available throughout the property. The tariff is for the whole property and includes electricity, central heating and hot water, Wi-Fi, linen and towels (a bath towel and hand towel for each guest). Changeover is Friday or Monday for 7 night stays or short breaks - Friday to Monday or Monday to Friday. The exception of to this is from 17th July and throughout August when changeover is a Friday for week long bookings only. The entire cottage is all yours to enjoy. There are no shared spaces. Please note, this property does not accept children under the age of 9 and pets are strictly not allowed.
