Chichester Cathedral and the famous Chichester Festival Theatre. Our unusual pentagon shaped theatre is well known for showcasing upcoming shows that end up on the West End so it is well worth checking the upcoming programme during your stay. With three good sized bedrooms Lavender Cottage is suitable for couples holidaying together or all the family. Here we have two double bedrooms and one single room with trundle bed underneath, from this particular bedroom on the top floor you can see the spire of Chichester Cathedral across the rooftops. This wonderful town house has a large dining room with room to seat six people, a separate living room with electric burner and large widescreen screen smart television to snuggle down after day of exploring. Lavender Cottage has a galley kitchen which runs alongside a warm courtyard garden. Sit out with alfresco dining on a hot summer's day. The kitchen and utility room is equipped with everything you need to effectively self-cater during your booking. Included are, kettle, coffee machine, dishwasher, oven / hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, iron/board, washing machine, tumble dryer and hairdryer in the bedroom. Parking is on the road and permits will be provided at the property. For those arriving by train Chichester train station is within easy walking distance. Chichester station has regular trains running direct to London Victoria & Brighton. Chichester city has an abundance of independent eateries, boutique stores as well as high street essentials. Artie's Kitchen Tapas restaurant on south street , ‘Purchases' is well worth a visit on North Street, ‘Lemon Grass' on East Street is one of the best Thai's in the area and ‘Crate and Apple' just down the road on West Street serves excellent bistro food and roasts on a Sunday. West Wittering is 15 minute drive and is good for dog lovers too with East Head being pet friendly all year around. Goodwood is also on your doorstep making this the perfect location to attend The Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival and many other Goodwood events. During the Revival you can always catch the vintage bus direct to the event from Chichester train station.
