Stylish cottage near Bruton, Wells and Glastonbury

Ideally suited to sleeping four people, the Bake House can accommodate up to 8. The property is a stylish conversion of a former bakery with it's own garden space and parking. It is suited to the east of East Pennard adjacent to open country. Our guests have the cottage to themselves, an area of private garden, and are welcome to wander in the woodland orchard adjoining our garden. There is ample parking. East Pennard is a beautiful village on Pennard Ridge, close to Bruton (Hauser and Wirth), Castle Cary, Glastonbury, the City of Wells and Shepton Mallet. Frome is a short drive. We are close to the Glastonbury Festival site and often have guests staying for this event. There are lovely walks or bicycle rides on our doorstep and many others in the locality. The views across the levels from the top of the ridge are stunning. There is a fantastic range of activities in the area from the world famous Glastonbury Festival to countless other events at the Bath and West Showground. There are numerous historic houses and landscapes to visit.
