The Old Barn is a spacious three bedroom holiday home situated just outside the town of Witney on the edge of the Cotswolds. Spacious with large south facing windows which overlook green fields and a wonderful view towards the town of Witney. The main bedroom is on a mezzanine level and looks south through large windows. The ground floor is stone tiled throughout with a large open plan kitchen-living-dining space opening out to a south facing patio area. The second bedroom is on the ground floor and the home also benefits from a third bedroom with two single beds. The Old Barn is situated 5km from the town of Witney in a secluded and quiet area with lovely countryside views. ABOUT YOUR HOST This home is hosted by Short Let Space Holiday Cottages. We are an independent Holiday Cottage company specialising in cottage and holiday home rentals in Oxford and the Cotswolds. The home is personally managed by our local home manager who is on hand to help guests with anything needed. LOCAL AREA The Old Barn is located 4km from Witney town centre. There is a short cut through the fields along a farm track. Witney is a picturesque town on the edge of the Cotswolds with easy access to the most picturesque villages, but without the huge number of tourists and day visitors. The market town still has a local feel about it and was described in the Telegraph as "The pretty Cotswolds town that tourists haven't discovered". Witney was the centre of Britain's blanket trade back in the 17th century after a cohort of weavers set up a guild here, and the locals are proud of their heritage.
