About the Apartment: This newly renovated 100 square meters duplex apartment is located on the first floor of an historic, traditional Maltese building without an elevator. As the house is situated overall several levels with stairs, it is, unfortunately, handicap inaccessible. The flat features an open-plan, studio-style living, dining, cooking and sleeping area on the 2nd and a private bedroom on the first floor. The property boasts beautiful tiled floors, unique wood-beamed ceilings, exposed stone walls and other unique finishes. The living area is furnished with an L-shaped sofa and flat screen TV with local channels. The sofa can be used to sleep one guest if necessary and additional linens are provided. Next to the living space you’ll find a dining table and 4 chairs for eating at home when you don’t feel like dining out in one of Valletta’s best restaurants. Off of the dining area lies the first double bed. All bedding, linens and pillows are provided, and you’ll find the beds neatly made on arrival. The compact yet fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare a simple meal. It comes with a refrigerator/freezer, sink, stove, microwave, toaster, drip coffee maker, teakettle and more. Full sets of cutlery and crockery are provided along with pots and pans and other utensils. An iron and board are provided for your convenience. The first bathroom is located off the kitchen area. It is outfitted with a sink, toilet, bidet, walk-in shower and separate bathtub. A hair dryer is provided so there is no need to pack one. Bath towels are provided for 5 people as well but please think about bringing a separate towel for the beach or purchasing one on arrival. On the lower level, you’ll find the separate bedroom with a double bed, nightstand and bedside lamp. The second bathroom is en-suite to this bedroom and contains a walk-in shower, sink and toilet. The flat is heated during the winter months and has air conditioning for the summertime. A member of our Welcoming Team will meet you upon arrival, give you the keys and entry codes, a tour of the apartment and its appliances, help you to connect to the Wi-Fi and more. You’ll find a personal guidebook in the flat with suggestions on where to eat and shop in Malta. About the Valletta Area: The flat is located in the capital city, Valletta. You are right in the historical, cultural and vital heart of the entire island: just few steps from some of the most beautiful natural beaches of Malta but also from the precious architectural jewels that tell the baroque history of the island. Here you can enjoy a perfect beach life, but you can also visit the characteristic alleys of the city, the Great Harbour or stroll through Valletta’s beautiful gardens, as The Upper Barrakka Gardens or the Hastings Gardens. This is the perfect base from which to explore Malta’s rich history, landscapes and culture. Other popular areas of the island, like St. Julian or Spinola Bay, can be easily reached by public bus or with a rental car. You’ll find plenty of opportunities to try out new water sports or take an excursion to the neighboring islands of Gozo and Comino. It is an enchanting place that you cannot miss if you want to know the history and the soul of the Mediterranean Sea. Important Information and Policies - Cancellation. Late check-in fees apply after 7:00PM. - Check-out is by 10:00AM. - Final cleaning fee: €70 - Damage Deposit. €400. This will be pre-authorised on your credit card during the check-in. - Smoking. All of our apartments are non-smoking, including in the terrace or balcony areas. - Pets. Unfortunately, furry friends are not allowed in any of our homes. - Parties. The apartment is NOT suitable for parties and the maximum number of guests should not exceed 5 people. - Minimum age. The main booker must be 21 years of age or older. Unaccompanied minors are not allowed. *Please note construction works are currently taking place all over the Maltese islands, including construction of a new apartment building next door. Some minor disturbances may be expected during normal working hours during weekdays. ** A valid credit card must be provided at the check-in for a pre-authorization of the damage deposit. This deposit will be returned to you after the checkout, provided no damage is caused to the flat. Management reserves the right to enter the property for purposes of inspection, maintenance, cleaning, to show the unit to potential purchasers or tenants. The Guest must allow Management or their representative (including workmen), with reasonable notice, access to the property at any reasonable time during your stay (except in an emergency or if a problem needs sorting out quickly and you cannot be contacted in time. In these situations, Management can enter the property at any time without giving you prior notice). The Management has the additional right to conduct viewings of the property potential new guests between the hours of 8:00am and 7:00pm local time.
