The well-furnished vacation home “Ferienhaus Hulda” is situated in Schienen, a village near Öhningen, and is both close to the Swiss border and the shores of Lake Constance. The 160 m² holiday home consists of a living room with a sofa bed, a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, 5 bedrooms as well as 2 bathrooms and an additional toilet and can therefore accommodate 12 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, a washing machine, satellite television, a baby cot and a highchair. Start your day with coffee on the sunny balcony and relax in the private outdoor area, which boasts a covered terrace, where you can have breakfast or spend the evenings with a glass of wine and tasty barbecued dinners. There is also a playground area for children with swings and a trampoline, as well as table tennis for fun afternoons. From the apartment, a bus stop is a 4-minute walk (350 m) away, and a restaurant is an 8-minute walk (650 m) away. After a 6-minute drive or 4.2 km to Öhningen, you will find supermarkets and bakeries, as well as the nearest beach. There you can swim in the clear blue water, surrounded by a lovely lake and mountain panorama. In Wangen, a 10-minute drive (7 km) from the apartment, you will also find a pharmacy and a pretty beach area. The hilly area close to the Schiener Berg (Schiener mountain) and the Klingenbachschlucht (a ravine) is perfect for all kinds of outdoor activities, such as hiking or cycling, and there are many routes starting basically at your front door. The charming lakeside town of Radolfzell is located a 16-minute drive (11 km) away, the World Heritage Site Reichenau Island is a 35-minute drive (32 km) from Schienen, and you can drive to Konstanz, famous for its picturesque old town centre, in 40 minutes (33 km). The Swiss city of Zurich is also within driving distance, 63 km or about one hour by car from the apartment. Parking spaces are available on the property. Bed linens and towels are included in the price. Pets are not allowed. A visitor’s tax must be paid on site, as well as a security deposit of €300. -
