2km from St Rome de Cernon on the N99 road from St Affrique in front of Roquefort located 3km away, the castle stands discreetly on the right and overlooks the Laumière plain. The origin could go back to the XIVth century in 1322, possession of Raymond de Vanc, passing in the domain of the Viscounts of Creyssels belonging to the house of Armagnac. The entrance to the castle is under an arch, topped with machicolations, which gives access to the front of the park and the building. The ground floor : A large corridor distributes its doors to 4 lounges in a row with chandeliers and wooden floors, many mirrors and mirrors, family furniture with chinoiserie. The last living room is an American billiard room with a fireplace bearing the coat of arms of the Viscount of Toulza on its mantle, also reproduced on the stained glass windows of the front door. All the living rooms have large windows opening onto the rear of the park. The left end of the corridor leads to a 5th living room-dining room called television with large fireplace and modern fully equipped kitchen overlooking the front of the park. A large utility room faces this living room with a so-called service staircase. The other end of the corridor gives access to the dedicated chapel and the spiral staircase leading to the upper floors. 1st floor: 4 large bedrooms with private bathrooms and toilets served by a large corridor. 2nd Floor: 3 bedrooms with bathroom, a children's bedroom with 3 beds communicating through a disguised door with a large bedroom. 2 wc upstairs The park: At the front, a park with impressive multi-hundred-year-old trees dominating to the south the fields and the remains of the old volcano and to the east the Soulzon valley and the Combalou rock of Roquefort. At the rear, part of the park is wooded and the other is occupied by a labyrinth of trimmed boxwood with a view behind the swimming pool of Cernon and Larzac. Ping pong, ball game, shuttlecock and bikes. A barbecue and a brazier for the cool evenings. A heated swimming pool. Many tables and garden chairs with armchairs and lounge chairs allow you to eat or take a nap in the shade. The castle water is supplied by the collection of a spring 800m upstream, treated and purified in the workshop before distribution. The irrigation water is supplied by a borehole located at the rear of the park. The workshop which includes the meters, the boiler, the arrival and the treatment of the water is an access reserved to the owner but the tenant will have an access key if necessary. The watchtower building on the left when entering is excluded from the rental as well as access to the vegetable patch due to the presence of beehives (see aerial photo). The farm adjoining the property is no longer part of the estate but remains active with its poultry, cows and sheep. The property is a family second home
