Artist's Paradise in Provence: Views!!!

Our more than 200 year old stone house is in a dominant location in the heart of the beautiful listed village of Fontaine de Vaucluse, famous for its freshwater spring. Come and enjoy this sunny haven of peace, its breathtaking views over the village, river, castle ruins and cliffs and its flowering Provence-style terraces lulled by the river below. Bathed in sunlight, spacious and just a 2 minute walk from the many restaurants, little shops, sites, riverside park, museums, fishing, kayaking... Outdoors we have two typical Provencal stone courtyards giving you a choice of sun or shade: - one sunny open courtyard with table, chairs and flowering plants - one semi-covered courtyard (25m²) with a large dining table and chairs in the shade, a small table in the sun (ideal for breakfast!), a BBQ, summer kitchen.. The house is approved by Gites de France and is east and west facing. The 80m² interior is bathed in natural light and entirely renovated: Ground floor: Large fully equipped kitchen/dining room (28m²); double bedroom with en suite bathroom (shower and toilet). First floor: Large living room with a double sofa bed and a second sofa (25m²); bathroom (shower and toilet); twin bedroom. Possibility to create a family floor with independent access from the courtyard. Travel cot available. Sleeps 4 to 6 people. Free parking in the village. Access to the house is by about sixty shallow stone steps (hence the great views and peace and quiet!). No problem for healthy people of all ages and the local supermarket has a delivery service! There is a public open air public swimming pool in the village in summer.
