Lake Iseo: views, privacy, pool & air conditioning

Our modern furnished house with professional Daikin air conditioners, swimming pool and private garage is located in Tavernola Bergamasca directly on Lake Iseo, in a historic place. Enjoy from the spacious terrace with lots of privacy in peace of nature and of Lake Iseo and the world famous Monte Isola (9 km circumference, car-free). Lake Iseo does not yet have mass tourism, which is a relief if you compare it with other Italian lakes, such as Lake Garda and Lake Como for example. If you drive around the lake, you will be 65 km on the bike or in the car and you will encounter the most beautiful places, the real Italian life and nature. Our house is 100 meters higher than the lake level, so that from our large terrace, equipped with luxury electric awning, garden furniture and BBQ, you have a breathtaking unobstructed view over Lake Iseo and the world-famous Monte Isola (largest island in a lake, 9 km circumference (no cars are allowed). There are 5 (shared) free public parking spaces at the complex of 12 apartments. There is also a private parking garage available for you under the complex. The house is luxuriously finished. The kitchen is fully finished with dishwasher, oven, large fridge and large freezer. There is also a good Dolce-Gusto coffee machine available. There are two fixed Daikin air conditioners with remote control in the bedrooms for the hottest days of the year. Replace the complete interior in 2020 (Samsung 44" Smart TV, fast wireless internet (EOLO), paintwork, beds, mattresses, cabinets, tables, chairs, garden furniture, etc.). There is a washing machine in the bass room for general use. There is a large private pool which is shared with the other apartments. In practice, there are never very many people on the complex, because most of the apartments belong to Italians, who use it as a second home to stay (sometimes) on weekends). In 2016 there was a 'first-class' view of the world-famous Floating Piers artwork: a temporary artwork by Christo and Jeanne-Claude, consisting of 70,000 square meters of yellow fabric, supported by a modular floating dock system of 226,000 high-density polyethylene cubes. You can fly to our house cheaply on Bergamo Orio al Serio with Ryanair. Tickets from €9.99 (Eindhoven Airport). Orio al Serio airport is only a half hour drive from our house! The village has 2,500 inhabitants and all basic amenities can be found in the center: bakery, butcher, supermarket, 3 bars, 4 restaurants, hairdresser, doctor, pharmacy and 'tabacco'. The center and the nearest beach are less than 5 minutes from our place. There are many (sports) activities available around the lake: cycling, cycling, mountain biking, hiking, golf, kayaking, sailing and in winter also skiing (45 minutes drive). Shopping and visiting cities, it's all within reach. Franciacorta Outlet Center (20km) has 140 stores with the most famous brands and real outlet prices. The indoor shopping center Elnoss near Brescia is also great, hundreds of shops, a 45-minute drive away. We are Dutch owners, but have a local help from an Italian lady, Claudia, who speaks basic English. She is the first point of contact for all questions or wishes. Of course we are and will remain available for the guests at all times if there is something that you cannot solve with Claudia. Chiara you she will show you everything on arrival. PAY ATTENTION: -Our house is not suitable for the disabled and is not equipped for babies (but there is a high chair). -You reach the house via 4 flights of 8 'lazy' steps down and the house itself has two floors that you reach via an internal staircase of 8 'lazy' steps, so if you have very limited mobility, that may not be pleasant . -The road to our house is 600 meters long and on average 15% steep. It is a well-paved road where passing is easy (but people who are afraid to drive up a hill/mountain should not book).
