Vintage Apartment 4bed3bath 3 min Grand Place / Gare Centrale
Vintage apartment filled with Mid-century Modern furniture. Newly renovated in Summer 2018. Located 5 min from grand place and central station. Rooms now have 50 inch Smart TVs with Netflix+AmazonPrime! Send me a message first for 3+ days stays , discount possible! 4 rooms (22/18/14/11m2) that can comfortably accommodate 16+ people overlooking the beautiful Galeries Royales Saint Hubert. Wide range of amenities for free or small charge. Pack less and enjoy more! THE APARTMENT: It is spacious (150 m2) with HIGH ceilings (3.1m) and has 4 rooms. THE ROOM: The walls are built with acoustically isolated material for better privacy. Despite its extreme central location in the Brussels City centre, it is right next to the National Bank and one of Belgium's top University and therefore is quiet during the night. The rooms are equipped with very comfortable, firm, quality mattress bought in the summer of 2018. Bed linen and towels are provided as courtesy but are not ironed. There are also pillows of different level of firmness for your comfort. The room is also equipped with a simple writing desk, chairs, a mirror and hangers. There is also a hotel style mini fridge in each of your rooms so you can safely and conveniently store your drinks (or Belgian beers for the tipsy people) within arm's reach, or even the precious Belgian chocolate that you've bought to bribe your aunts, uncles and coworkers. I use airbnb myself to travel for work and for fun a lot so I understand that having the necessary amenities and beyond is super important for an enjoyable stay. During your stay, you will have access to ample amount of little things that will allow you to relax more and pack less. Smart TV: Newest 50 inch OLED Smart TV installed in each room, you can connect it with your Computer, share my Netflix favourites and even put Spotify! You can even Amazon Prime and chill, if you know what I'm saying ;) Free coffee, fruits and snacks - Please help yourself with the newest Nespresso machine with milk function that you can make latte and my favourite herbal and Chinese tea, and finish it off with little biscuits and fresh fruits. I hope this qualifies for the "Breakfast" part in the whole "B&B" thing ;). Board games, cards, drinking games - Who doesn't appreciate a chill lazy Sunday afternoon playing classic board games like Catan, Battleship or chess? For the adventurous, I also have newer games such as Quoridor, Cards Against Humanity and many more. I even have Monopoly, Risks and a poker set if you want to end some friendships.... Big Black Board - Before you leave, why not pick up a piece of chalk and leave a message or two for me and the future guests on the 2mx2m blackboard I painted by the door? If you have something positive to say? Write it! A suggestion? I can always do better! A negative review? Then definite write it on the blackboard and not on Airbnb ;) ! Guide books and Umbrellas - Want to make a little adventure? Feel free to borrow the guide books and take an umbrella against the Brussels weather. I didn't want to include this point, since we are all adults here, but my mum, forever paranoid, insisted upon it. Internet and entertainment - The apartment is equipped with the highest speed broadband WiFi (6-10 Mb/s) available in Belgium. Help me read my books so I can pretend to have finished them, or you can borrow magazines such as The Economist or Courrier International that I'm subscribed to... no book report at the end required! Laundry - Still have travelling to do but not enough clean clothes? If you rent the whole apartment you may request my cleaning lady to help you with your laundry using my brand new 2018 top range Siemens washing machine and dryer. 2 Ironing boards are also available in the apartment. I challenge you to use both irons at the same time, one with each hand. If you don't burn anything I will put you on youtube and a free beer is on me at the famous Delirium Cafe just nearby. Parking: I offer a free private parking space in my apartment building. A second spot is available in case the first one is taken at 15 euros the first night and 10 euros per night thereafter. It is cheaper than any nearby public car park (at least around 20 euros per night) it's cheaper than any nearby public car park and quicker access to your car in case you wanna flee if you ever break the 2500 euros mid century modern cabinet. Bathrooms and toilets - The apartment has one full bathroom (hand-free rainfall shower and floating toilette paired with a bluestone sink); one separate shower room; a separate toilet, and finally a bathroom with a full bathtub and a double sink (in case you NEED to brush your teeth with your partner side-by-side). Powerful hairdryers and a hair straightener are also available, since I don't really need them anymore after my dream to rock "The Rachel" hairstyle has been completely crushed. Kitchen and Cooking: The kitchen is a bit old (I have no more budget after making all the renovations), but it is still fully equipped with an oven, microwave, electric stove, a new full size fridge, a dishwasher and a new black quartz sink. Being Asian, I have also a rice-cooker (can't live without it). Printer: Despite what Ryanair would like to have you believe, do you know you don't have to print your boarding pass anymore? But if you insist or if you absolutely have to have a few pages printed for your last minute presentation, the new WiFi printer will be here for you.
