CHARM & CHARACTER - Oak Tree Cottage is a tastefully decorated three bedroom cottage located 3 minutes drive from the historic village of Mundaring within the beautiful Perth Hills. The cottage is an ideal retreat for both families (room for two families) and couples wanting a spacious retreat! Mundaring is the perfect location to take in the Perth Hills and Swan Valley vineyards, local country pubs, fine dining restaurants, weekend markets and more!! Take advantage of the many walking trails and cycle trails (The Munda Biddi Trail being one of the worlds longest of its kind running from Mundaring to Albany). Visit Lake Leschenaultia, the Mundaring Weir, Mundaring Sculpture Park or take a leisurely drive to the Country towns of York, Northam or Toodyay. Mundaring is located just 34km east of Perth being only 45 minutes drive to the city! Discounts are available for longer stays or families relocating overseas. We are pet friendly upon application and subject to a charge of $40. Wedding Parties are very welcome upon request and subject to an additional charge of $100. ACCOMMODATION THE CHARACTER COTTAGE FEATURES:- An open plan kitchen/dining/lounge. The kitchen is modern with character whilst the lounge and dining areas are comfortable and cozy. This open plan area features a raked timber ceiling, polished jarrah floorboards and cedar timber windows. There is also a large wood burner with jarrah for burning for those colder nights and reverse cycle air conditioning for the warner ones! The master bedroom has a queen bed, a modern cottage style en-suite with hair dryer and large walk in wardrobe. Bedroom 2 also has a queen bed and a jack & jill bathroom with has a gorgeous slipper bath. Bedroom 3 has a trio bunk-bed ie. double underneath with a single above and has a selection of toys, games, DVD's and books to keep the children entertained. This bedroom shares the bathroom with bedroom 2.
