Mansfield on the Manning Wattle Cottage

Mansfield on the Manning is a boutique rural retreat just 3 hours north of Sydney. Set in 16 acres on the banks of the Manning River, this tranquil resort has 4 self-contained properties to suit couples, families and small groups. This 3-bedroom cottage has 2 Queen bedrooms, 1 is ensuite, and a further room with 2 single beds and bunk beds, so ideal for kids. As well as the ensuite bathroom, there is a further bathroom and separate toilet. There is a large, spacious open plan living room (with wood burning stove) and dining room and a really well equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, Smeg oven, microwave, dish washer, kettle, toaster, Nespresso machine, quality cookware, crockery, cutlery, dinner-ware and glasses. There is reverse cycle heating/aircon. All bedding and towels are provided and there are organic toiletries in both bathrooms. There is a large flat screen TV/DVD, radio, free wifi, lots of books, games and DVD's for kids and adults. The cottage has a huge deck with further outdoor seating, outside dining and a Weber bbq. The Cottage also has its own firepit for enjoying sundowners and toasted marshmallows. We provide a welcome pack for your arrival, with bread, biscuits, eggs from our free-range chooks, milk, and there is a good selection of teas and coffees in the Cottage. There is direct access to the river - for swimming, fishing and kayaking and the properties are set in over 16- acres and each is totally private. There are also 2 river view cabins with Queen size ensuite bedrooms and 2 singles in the loft - fully fitted out with everything you need for a weekend break - or longer! Each cabin also has Aircon and free wifi. Each cabin is beautifully decorated and features quality linens and towels, organic toiletries and personal touches throughout. There is also a 1978 American Airstream has fantastic views of the river and is the perfect place for wannabe travellers! Completely refurbished to provide luxury accommodation, the Airstream has 1 Queen bedroom, shower, toilet, fully fitted kitchen and a fold out double sofa bed, Aircon and free wifi. Perfect for lounging around in the hammock and deck chairs. This is the perfect location for big group get togethers, sleeping up to 22 in the 4 properties. Guests can also help themselves to fruit and vegetables from our veggie gardens - and to eggs from our free-range chooks. We are just a 10 minute drive from the Pacific Highway, but a million miles away from the stresses of the City. 10 minutes also gets you to Taree and Wingham with independent shops, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. We're a 15 minute drive from Old Bar Beach. Famed for it's fantastic surfing and laid back charm, this beach is totally unspoilt and is ideal for surfers and families alike. We are less than 1km from the renowned Kiwarrack Mountain Bike Forest Trail. Spend your day in the forest and your night round the bbq and fire pits at Mansfield on the Manning.
