Mare Verde Salento Sealovers

The 'Franchina' property has three cottages, made out of dry stone, called 'trullo' or 'pajara' .Mareverde is the left cottage(looking the property) that has a splendid frontsea covered veranda equipped with bbq,dining table, rocking sofa,outdoor shower,and an hammock under a big old olive tree. It has one bed room with a double bed.Eventually you can have an extra bed in the livingroom. The rustic garden, located on a terraced down hill that reaches a pristine reef, is filled with secular olive trees, holm-oaks and Mediterranean plants. It's equipped with outdoor barbecues, pizza-oven & hammocks, offering to the guests splendid shady corners to relax. The common terrace is equipped with sun beds and beach umbrella. The sea below, visible from the covered verandas where one may spend a comfortable portion of the day, is crystal clear. You can easily access the sea by stone pathways leading directly to the living reef. There are no sand beaches at this particular portion of the coast, however sand beaches are accessible 13 km away at Santa Maria di Leuca, the extreme point of Italy (finibus terrae).
