Due to the good central location you can reach restaurants, cafes and a bakery in the immediate vicinity (1-5 minutes walk). Two larger supermarkets are 10 minutes away by car, in Lautenthal and Clausthal-Zellerfeld (7 and 8 km). On the premium hiking trail "Liebesbankweg" you can make a 7 km long walk. After only a 3-minute walk, adventure seekers will find a bike park. While in winter skiers and snowboarders conquer the slopes of the Bocksberg on five alpine slopes, in summer mountain bikers can discover seven routes from easy to difficult.
