Charming Penthouse in central Old Town

Summary: Unique penthouse apartment in the heart of Old Town Stockholm. The apartment is situated in a calm area only a few meters from the vibrant shopping street Stora Nygatan. The house is built in the 15th century and the interior is a combination of old and modern design. The lower floor is tastefully decorated with wooden stairs leading up to the upper floor that offers a magnificent view over Old Town. The Space: The lower floor is tastefully decorated with a hallway, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, dining room and bedroom for two persons with a fireplace and a walk-in closet. The old wooden stairs lead up to the spacious upper floor with an additional two beds and a seating area with a sofa bed that fits two persons. The upper floor also offers a magnificent view over Old Town and you can see as far as to the City Hall and the Royal Castle. The apartment is 93m2. As the apartment is situated in a house that is medieval there is no elevator so you need to climb the stairs, the apartment is situated on the 4th floor. Guest Access: The apartment is an exclusive stay for you as a guest. The Neighborhood: The apartment is nicely situated on the calm street Svartmangatan (just across the street from German Church) only a few meters from the vibrant shopping street Stora Nygatan and Stortorget with the Nobel Museum. The Old Town is beautiful, packed with narrow and medieval streets to explore. From the apartment you can also easily reach every part of Stockholm, whether it is the luxurious Östermalm or hip Södermalm. Getting Around: The penthouse is situated about 3-5 minutes walk from the metro station "Gamla stan" (Old town). The Central Station is only one subway station away, and from there you can take every subway line. We always encourage walking around Stockholm, the city is not that big so it is definitely the best way to explore. Other Things to Note: Rules for rental With respect towards neighboring families, no partying (including stag parties and similar) is allowed. No smoking allowed - also NOT by the windows. No pets allowed Strictly no guests except for confirmed guests can stay in the apartment. If any extra guests are seen entering, we will have to cancel the booking without refund as it is strictly against our house rules. Parking – due to legislations, traffic is only allowed in Old Town between 06-11 a.m. Parking can be found near to the Royal Castle or in connection to the Old Town metro station, minutes away. As it is a medieval house, there is no elevator in the building. The penthouse is situated on the fourth floor.
