Fantastic Family Villa with enclosed private pool

Free WIFI, ideal for 2 families and mixed age groups due to the variety of spaces - 5 minute drive to the beach. The space Built to a high standard with neighbours on only 1 side. The swimming pool is 8m x 4m with a combined decking and astroturf area of 150m2, totally enclosed in its own area and therefore safe for children. Built on a plot of 800 sqm the living space is 400sqm including decking and terraces. The gardens are mature and the pool and front area is edged by 4m+ high cypress trees. Cleaned thoroughly before your arrival with fresh bed linen and bathroom towels provided. We also provide beach towels per person. Off street secure parking for 2 cars. A family home during the winter with no smoking indoors and no pets please. We offer Free fibre WiFi internet connection, an extensive DVD collection, a new Buddha Garden, Carribean style, thatched, poolside parasols, plus evergreen, astro turfed play area, lawn and pool area.! We have travel cots, high chairs and a child's folding bed available to our guests at no extra charge. We can also supply the bedding for these. Guest access Access to our premises is via a sturdy, sliding, green gate located at the driveway to the villa. The driveway is able to accommodate 2 cars and in addition, there is a shaded car port. When the gate is closed, the property, gardens, pool, terraces, driveway and car port are secluded and private. There is a short path, through some of the garden, leading to 7 steps up to the front door porch. There is a second path, from the driveway, leading to the utility room, at the back of the villa, via the Budha garden. You are provided with a key to the utility room where the washing machine, butler sink and drainer, ironing board, iron, airer, pegs, cool box, mop and bucket, broom, dust pan and brush and boiler are located. At the back of the villa there is a pebbled, tiered area complete with fruit trees and garden wall that provides complete privacy. There is no access to the pool area via this space at the back of the villa ensuring the security and safety of young children who may go exploring. Beyond our back garden wall is the forest and nature reserve of the Montgri Massif. From the driveway there is access to the astro turfed, front lawn and gardens., edged by our natural screen of 4m+ high cypress trees. Walking over the lawn, towards the pool and decking, there is a full height, wooden gate supported by a trellis covered in honeysuckle. This gate can be closed so that the pool area is safely contained. Within the villa, the internal door leading to the garage, is locked. The garage is used as storage for the Owners and is not accessible. There are 8 steps leading from the lounge terrace, down to the pool and decking. We have wrought iron railings edging the terrace, some covered with bougainvillea, with a lockable gate used to prevent access to the swimming pool when required. As parents we appreciate how vital it is to have a pool area which can be closed off from young children. Other things to note We have been successfully offering our villa to holiday makers for the last 11 years, using various websites. This is our first season using Airbnb and have yet to receive any reviews. However, we have wonderful testimonials in our Guest Books, many lovely emails from clients and clients who return year after year. We have been hosts to families holidaying with grandparents, their young children, teenagers, babies - sometimes extended family, with in-laws, cousins, couples looking to chill out, play golf, scuba dive, drive out to Gerona, visit Barcelona, explore the Costa Brava, pop across the boarder into France. We have some excellent mountain bike trails, cycling routes and running routes all mapped out well in the surrounding countryside. Accommodation wise, with two ensuite master bedrooms and two equal sized twin rooms, there is a fair distribution of bedroom space. For relaxing throughout the villa and the gardens, we have created many 'spaces' - private areas where you can disappear alone or in small groups, to catch up on news from the family, read or play with the little ones, sip a G&T, read a book, check emails or relax in the sun. The villa has 3 air conditioning units around the property, but are only effective when all doors and windows are closed. One is located in the upstairs, master bedroom, another in the lounge and the third is in the corridor where the 3 downstairs' bedrooms are located. We also supply fans to help circulate the cool air. Our wooden shutters are very effective during the particularly hot summer months, when they are closed, keeping out the hot sun from the bedrooms and lounges. These units also blow hot air and can be used in the Winter months.
