Picturesque Cottage between Bristol & Bath

Lower Brook Cottage is an 18th Century cottage located in the picturesque hamlet of Woollard between the villages of Pensford & Compton Dando in North East Somerset. There is a small cottage garden at the front and a large rear garden which stretches down to the River Chew and adjacent woodland. The village is surrounded by beautiful countryside with local wildlife including deer, heron, geese and ducks. There are lots of country pubs nearby and the village is within easy reach of the historic cities of Bristol, Bath & Wells. Chew Valley Lake offers some of the best trout fishing in Europe with Cheddar Caves and the Mendip Hills just a short drive away.
