This pleasant, well furnished and equipped holiday apartment in Santa Maria di Castellabate is situated on the ground floor of a well-kept house which is subdivided into 3 different apartments. On the ground floor you will find, next to your holiday apartment IKC176, a second holiday apartment which can be rented with the reference IKC177. The house owners, on the contrary, live on the first floor. On your beautiful, equipped and covered terrace you can relax after a long day on the beach and admire the beautiful panorama during your outdoor dinner. On a clear day you may even see the famous Amalfi coast and the isles of Capri and Ischia in the distance. In a short drive you will reach the next beach and the nice city center of Santa Maria di Castellabate which offers large free and equipped beaches, a beautiful sea promenade, bars and excellent restaurants. Don’t miss to visit the antique hamlet called Castellabate, a UNESCO world heritage which dominates the whole bay of Santa Maria di Castellabate. This antique, small hamlet dates back to the year 1123 and it is a labyrinth of antique small houses, romantic alleys, steps, small squares with beautiful panoramic views, excellent trattorias and characteristic bars. The “Piazzetta”, which is the main square of this small hamlet, is the meeting point of the local inhabitants as well as the tourists. From here you enjoy a beautiful view over the surroundings hills, whilst from the “Belvedere di San Costabile” you can admire an unforgettable view over the sea during the sun set. The area of Cilento is situated in the region of Campania, in South Italy, between Paestum in the north, Sapri in the south and the Vallo di Diano in the east with abt. 100 km of coast, mountains and 200 small, mostly medieval villages. Those among you who love history and art should not miss to visit the beautiful site of Paestum with its amazing Greek temple ruins. In the same area you may visit the small town of Agropoli with its beautiful large steps leading up to the historical center where from the fortress you can enjoy an amazing view over the whole coast.
