Spacious apartment steps away from beach & village

Welcome to the Olive Nest, our bright, spacious 3 bedroom apartment, ideal for families, a group of friends or a romantic retreat on the Silver Coast. This modern top floor apartment, with views over the Lagoa (Lagoon) and green surroundings, is located in a private condominium, steps away from both the village of Foz Do Arelho and the magnificent Praia Da Foz (local beach). Three large double bedrooms with their luxury pillows and large storage space, all benefit from nice views and sunlight throughout the day. You’ll want to curl up with a good book and enjoy. Bathrooms: a large shower room, with bidet and toilet; plus another toilet near the entrance. Have a go at making your own Italian-style coffee in the fully equipped kitchen, spacious enough for long sit-in breakfasts - as is the balcony overlooking the pool and gardens. The lounge/dining room area has another large front balcony where you can sit and relax after a long day of adventures, enjoy an aperitif at sunset and take in the views. Our apartment is part of a quiet private condominium of 10 apartments with large shared gardens, swimming pool, terrace and amenities you can enjoy at leisure (BBQ, table tennis, shower and toilet). 2 entrances - Front (street parking) and back (private parking) Parking is free We remain at your disposal and you can be welcomed upon arrival by our parents, Tony and Fatima or if you prefer privacy we can leave the keys in the key safe for you to collect. Trilingual in English, Portuguese and French You have many options just on your doorstep: the apartment is a 5 mins walk to Foz do Arelho village with cafes, shops and restaurants. About 15 mins walk to Praia Da Foz, the long lagoon beach, fantastic for fans of water sports as well as families with small children with safe shallow areas of the lagoon to play in, away from the ocean. You’ll delight in the many other outdoors options from long coastal (or woodland) walks, cycling, horse riding or the outstanding golf courses around. If going up the hill instead, about 5mins away you shall find the outstanding lookout point of Miradouro where on a clear day you can see the Berlengas islands fort. A little further away, why not hit the markets in the nearby Caldas da Rainha old town for fresh local produce, delicacies and enjoy the many old town boutiques. For the younger ones you will find plenty of activities such as cinemas, bowling, water parks, carting and more. There is something for everyone. For other local cultural day trips, consider the fortified medieval town of Obidos or the tranquil mindfulness of a long walk through the Buddha Eden Gardens. Update July 2021: Please note there are some construction works opposite the apartment which may temporarily affect the view of the lagoa. Halfway between Nazaré (30mins north) and Peniche (approx 30mins south of Foz) Approx. 50 minutes by car from Lisbon Airport Some key house rules: - Please be considerate of noise levels for neighbours, especially after 22:00 - We provide all bed linen and towels, however do bring your own beach towels as we do not have any (and the clean, white bath towels are not suitable for beach, sand, sun screen or fake tan!) - Bins are a short walk down the back road/cul de sac (rear carpark side), including recycling (plastic & cans, bottles & glass, cardboard & paper) - Please leave shared spaces (pool, bbq, games room etc) as you found them and take all belongings with - especially in COVID times, each guest must be mindful and clean after themselves (rules displayed by the pool)
