Hunter River Retreat is situated on 110 acres and approx. 2 hrs from Sydney, 15 minutes from Maitland, with boutique wineries close by and the main Hunter Valley wineries approx. 30 minutes away. Full Day Bus Winery Tours can also be organized that pick up from The Retreat - you can taste and not worry about driving. Goanna Lodge is a private fully self-contained cabin with a huge deck, gourmet BBQ and stunning views which makes entertaining or a family get togethers on the deck a must. The Goanna lodge has 3 bedrooms, the main bedroom featuring a queen bed, and a glass sliding door leading to the third bedroom, will be loved by the children and features a double bed and a loft bed above, along with a tv and dvd player.
