Chalet Mia is a spacious 220m² chalet with 5 large bedrooms, 5 en-suite bathrooms, 1 additional toilet, a large living/dining room with a 14 seater table, and fireplace. Conveniently located 2km from the nearest cable car at Morillon, it boasts amazing south facing mountain views, hot tub, TV, and free WiFi throughout. HOT TUB - WINTER ONLY Situated on the second floor there are 2 twin/double bedrooms with new quality beds (200/90 or 200/180) 1 double bedroom (200/160). The third floor comprises of 2 spacious family bedrooms, 1 double bed (200/160) and 2 or 3 single beds (200/90). Each room has its’ own private bathroom with bath or shower, heated towel rail and hairdryer. Our south facing open plan kitchen, lounge and dining room boasts a spacious 75 square metres with balcony opening out to wonderful views of the valley, a lovely spot to relax in at the end of the day, or snuggle up in front of the fire with a book. The kitchen is equipped with 2 large convection ovens, American fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, Dulco Gusto coffee machine, toaster, induction hob, and drinks fridge. Babyfoot table for family fun and board games. The free ski bus stop is only 50 metres from the chalet in the winter, but a car is recommended. The road has good access to the ski station, and is cleared regularly of snow. As of November 2021 snow tyres or snow chains are obligatory in French ski resorts. There is quick and easy access to the 275km of the Grand Massif ski area which is a great winter sports area for all levels from young children beginning to the more adventurous off piste and black run enthusiasts. We offer services for airport transfer bookings, discounted ski hire or ski fitting at the chalet. Chalet Mia - La Terrasse de Verchaix is the ideal place for you winter sports holiday, there are many other activities if there are non-skiers in your group, beautiful winter walks, cross country skiing, dog sledding, weekly markets in Samoens, Verchaix and Morillon. In the summer guests can benefit from the spacious private terrace with sun loungers, parasols, al fresco dining and BBQ. Chalet Mia is within walking distance of the Lac Bleu recreation park at Morillon where you will find tennis, swimming, pump track, acrobranch, pony trekking, mini-golf, playground and fitness trails. The possibilities for walking and hiking, plus road biking routes (which are often used in the Tour de France), are endless. For the more adventurous why not try downhill mountain biking, water rafting, rock climbing or via ferrata…….there is just so much to do in a week. Linen, towels and cleaning are included in the price. The lower ground floor area offers secure heated ski/bike storage room with ski racks, benches and hanging space, an additional shower room and toilet with access to the hot tub.
