Songthrush is a spacious, family-owned contemporary home on the private Lower Mill Estate nature reserve in the Cotswolds Water Park. A fabulous property set in a quiet cul-de-sac location and overlooking a small reeded stream, you have miles of scenic walks from the front door and an abundance of local sporting, sightseeing and relaxing activities. COVID-19 UPDATE: Songthrush is fully disinfected between rentals (Thermo Fogger process), in addition to thorough cleaning. You are able to access the house contact-free, and although there are shared facilities on the Estate (pools, spa etc), the house is exclusive yours. Families are particularly welcome, with plenty of activities for all ages. Children are well catered for with plenty of local outdoor activities, and well behaved dogs are welcome. The Estate is a 650 acre nature reserve, home to a myriad of wildlife. There is a fabulous (inclusive) Art Spa with indoor/outdoor pools, gym and treatment rooms, as well as playground areas, trampolines, a football area and table-tennis and tennis courts. A small shop and restaurant/café is 150m walk Lower Mill Estate comprises exclusive, private villages committed to ecological best practice, with wonderful facilities, a luxury family spa plus over 550 acres of pure Cotswold countryside to explore. On site you will find the £6m Artspa, with a heated indoor and outdoor pool, plunge pool (very cold!), sauna and steam room. There is a well-equipped gym, and a tennis court that can be booked by the hour. Your rental includes free access for all guests to the Artspa. The Artspa also offers a wide range of spa treatments using 100% natural plant-extract products (payable locally). The Ballihoo restaurant is on site, offering lunch, dinner as well as great coffee, tea and patisserie. There is also a licensed bar. They have a small range of grocery provisions, and can also provide gourmet dining direct to your front door. There are numerous lakeside walks you can take without leaving the Estate. For some years now the Estate has supported the re-introduction of beavers into the protection of the nature reserve. There are spots around Flagham Fen where you can hope to catch a glimpse of these shy creatures at dusk or dawn.
