Lax is located in the region of Aletsch, at the gateway to Goms. Here, you are far away from mass tourism, but you benefit from the infrastructure of the tourist village of Fiesch (3km). In Lax, a bus runs straight to the chairlift in Fiesch that takes you to the Aletsch Arena ski area. You are also within reach of the Aletsch Glacier (on foot), Binntal (on foot), Zermatt, Fee and Domodossola, among others.
