It will be fascinating to plunge yourself into its historical center, divided into 17 Contrade (town districts), and try to reconstruct its history, to recast a fascinating picture of alliances and rivalries, still today particularly felt by its citizens. Here you can visit the Palazzo Pubblico and the tower Torre del Mangia, which adorn the beautiful Piazza del Campo, the Cathedral with its "facetone", from which you can admire an enchanting view of the city and the surrounding countryside, the Museo del Opera Duomo and the National Art Gallery.
