Nestled at the bottom of a private track, Far Boathouse is a beautifully appointed tranquil retreat right on the edge of Ullswater; in fact you don’t actually see it until you descend down toward towards the lake. Far enough from the noise and bustle of life, but within easy access to the real world, only a 15 minute drive from the M6. Perfect for all weathers as the views of lake, hills and sky are stunning. As a base for walking, touring the Lakes, water sports, bird watching or just chilling out, it is perfect. A unique location for mini moon, honeymoon, romantic getaway. Perfect for that special anniversary, a birthday, somewhere special to propose or simply get away and relax. Far Boathouse will add extras too depending on the occasion, a nice bottle of wine, Champagne, Prosecco and chocolates just to add a personal touch. The interior is unique, cosy and homely with a well-equipped kitchen with all the utensils you need and a wine cooler adds a touch of luxury. There is an electric oven with hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, coffee making machine (Ground coffee). The open plan living dining area hosts a stylish marble dining table, which seats 4 (just in case friends pop in to say hello!). There is a huge sofa, which looks out of the bio fold glass doors to breath taking views of the lake and the hills. Alternatively on a sunny day sit outside on the balcony and watch the sailboats pass by and of course the ducks and swans are regular visitors. If you are very lucky Mr otter may come and visit! Look out for the amazing skies especially at sunrise and sunset, stargazing at the night skies and the romantic moonlight that sometimes shines into the boathouse. Relax and unwind with a DVD playing on the Sony TV. Binoculars, books of wild life and birds, Monopoly, chess, cards and dominoes are there for your leisure time. Unwind in the unique driftwood style wood bathroom, with a large overhead shower, toilet and washbasin, luxurious towels and bathrobes are provided along with a range of toiletries. The cosy bedroom has a king-size bed with luxurious Egyptian cotton bedding and a sprinkle of rose petals to create a touch of romance.
