Vintage charming house – quiet – nature – beach – kitesurf – House located 500m from the beach in a quiet tourist region. Very good for quiet beach holidays, windsurfing, kitesurfing and surfing. Pleasant place for walks in the mountains and by the beach, biking, river, boating, water skiing, golf, canoeing and river tours etc. Vintage family holiday home, fully recovered. Two floors with porch and garden. Tasteful decoration, antiques and modern furniture and with all amenities. Well equipped with quality crockery, cutlery, linen and towels. Central heating. Ground floor: 1 large common room (aprox50m2) with iron closed fireplace. 1 bedroom (suite) with two single beds and a large private bathroom. Kitchen fully equipped: dishwasher, stove + oven, microwave, fridge freezer, coffee machine, and various small domestic appliances. Porch with dining table. Bathroom at the porch. Laundry room with washing machine and iron. Approx. 120m2 garden with barbecue 1st floor: 2 bedrooms with large double bed (king-size bed) 1 bedroom with two single beds 1 bathroom 1 dressing room (or small child room) Moledo do Minho is a small village with hospitable people; the house is located near the railway station, bakery, cafeteria, small grocery stores and pizzeria and within less than 10 minute walk you find a few small/typical restaurants with terraces, by the sea. In the vicinity there are two small towns where you can find bank, firefighters, health services, shopping, supermarkets, bars, disco, evening entertainment, etc. Given its geographic location, Moledo and Caminha became an obligatory passage point for pilgrims to Santiago de Compostela; here crosses three main itineraries: the Path of the Interior , the Way of the Northwest, and the Seaway . The proximity of the Minho River allows the passage to Galicia ( Spain). • Caminha (6km) : friendly medieval village - daily fresh market, weekly fair, and themed events such as medieval fairs, popular music, traditional religious festivals; a friendly and cozy square with medieval buildings with several outdoor cafes and a pedestrian area with bars and nightlife; bicycle rental and several water and outdoor activities. • Vila Praia de Âncora (8km): village with fishing port and many restaurants for freshest fish connoisseurs. Region famous for its fish and seafood cuisine, as well as the good typical Portuguese food. Calm beach at the mouth of Âncora River. Close to landmarks and places of historical interest. Walking tours 1 -TRAIL “Cabeço do meio-dia” – Windmills trail This trail , cultural context and short route, has a 8 km route, easy difficulty degree. Departing in the Chapel of “ Santo Antão” , hikers who choose this path go through several forest tracks and crossing the “Ribeiro da Pombas” , to visit the “Moinho da Pombas de Baixo” . Also pass through the “Moinho Velho” and the “Moinho Novo” . Having reached the Cabeço do Meio-Dia, the walkers are at a altitude of 550 meters and proceed to Moinho de Baixo, the bridge and Moinhos da Gândara . This route ends at the Pontao do lobo, which is invaluable for the architectural and ethnographic heritage of the Serra d' Arga . Route Scope: cultural Starting point: Chapel of St. Antão - Arga de Cima Traveled distance: 8 kilometers Length of course : 3 hours Difficulty level: Easy Maximum Hit : 550 meters ( Cabeço do meio dia) 2 - Trilho da Pedra Alçada It is a pedestrian resort of ecological and scenic character of small route. The distance is 11.5 km and the degree of difficulty is considered to be moderate. This trail allows you to reach the highest point of the County – Pedra Alçada, at 742 meters above sea level, from where you can observe a magnificent panoramic sea and the mouth of the Minho and Coura Rivers. In addition to the wonderful landscape for the rail can be enjoyed several tree, shrub and herbaceous species, the Monastery of St. John d'Arga, waterfalls and natural landscapes created by Brook S. RAIL CHA GRANDE The trail is of ecological and cultural context of small route, which route is 12 km and moderate. Departing at Largo da Igreja de Arga de Baixo, this route allows seeing the meadows that constitute the place of Valverde, the Alto da Fonte da Urze, where is born the River Âncora, and where we can observe the immensity of Chã Grande. It allows even down to the Covão Mills and observe the typical high-Minho houses, green fields surrounded by rubble walls and granaries that retain primitive characteristics. Scope of the course: Ecological and Cultural Departure Point: Largo da Igreja de Arga de Baixo Distance traveled: 12 Km Duration of course: 5 hours Degree of Difficulty: Moderate Quota Reached Maximum: 803 meters (Alto da Portela) 5. RAIL BETWEEN THE SEA AND MOUNTAIN This trail of scenic and ecological context and short route, has a route of 19.3 km, with a moderate degree of difficulty. It begins with the Camping Camarido Park, pases the ancient walls up to the Alto da Espiga, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful views over the estuary of Minho and Coura Rivers. Continues to Romanesque chapel of S. Pedro de Varais, where we observe a magnificent view over the valley of the Âncora river and the Atlantic coast. Can be reached following the geodesic mark of Cobertorinho and, later, a cruise culminating in rock Penedo do Sino dos Mouros. After crossing the EN 13, arrives at the beach Moledo. Through the National Forest Camarido returns to the starting point.
