In the heart of the Val d'Allier, in a quiet area, the charming village of St Ilpize offers a rich and varied panorama combining rivers, vast meadows, forests and hiking trails, in a mild and very sunny climate. Remarkable for its architecture, the medieval town was built around a castle and its chapel dating from the 11th century, which are now listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The house is located in the heart of the place called Channat which offers a splendid view of the Allier valley and the Monts de la Margeride. Activities in the direct vicinity: Visit of the village, fishing, canoeing and white water activities in the Allier, hiking, museum of the conservatory of the Ribeyre grape varieties... A few kilometers away: the museum of paleontology of Chilhac, the remarkable villages de Brioude and Lavoulte Chilhac, the Ally plateau and its mills, the Benedictine abbey of Lavaudieu. A little further still: 45 minutes from the town of Puy-en-Velay and its many buildings classified as World Heritage by Unesco. A staircase of a few steps leads you to the balcony allowing access to the gîte. Arranged on one level the house is very functional. The 20m² living room is made up of a kitchen, dining and lounge area. The sleeping area consists of two bedrooms of 13 and 11 m² each equipped with a double bed, a 4 m² shower room and separate toilets. On the outside you will benefit from a small flowered terrace in addition to the balcony. Services included: heating included.
