Summary: This gorgeous apartment is right on the water overlooking the boats in the Viaduct marina. With an indoor/outdoor conservatory and flow you can enjoy the views rain or shine. The apartment has a beautifully homely feel. With sun beaming into every room it's the perfect place to enjoy the sunset hues whether you're relaxing with a book on the couch or having a drink in the conservatory gazing out over the boats and sparkling blue waters. This a prime location with all that the city has to offer at your doorstep. The Space: This apartment is warm and light with fantastic views and floor to ceiling windows in the conservatory and bedrooms so you can make the most of the sparkling blue views! The open plan living flows out to the conservatory so everyone can enjoy the sun shine and water views. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a new recipe or an old favourite, enjoy dining with your fellow guests while looking out over the marina. The bedrooms have dreamy beds accompanied with high quality linen for that indulgent crisp feeling. They have room darkening shades to ensure you have an uninterrupted and restful sleep. Both bedrooms have wardrobes so you can unpack your bags and feel at home. *The room darkening shades are new since the photos were taken. The photographic art prints throughout the apartment are shot by a young local photographer - Rachel Mataira. Rachel recently won "Young Photographer of the Year" for her shot 'Solo Sailor', which is the photo above the sofa. The photo in the master bedroom is of the beach at Mount Maunganui near Tauranga and the hallway photo was taken above St Georges Bay pontoon in Parnell (about 10 minutes drive from here). The property has shared facilities including an indoor pool, gym and sauna. Guest Access: The whole apartment is yours to enjoy :) You also have access to the pool and gym in the complex The Neighborhood: Lighter Quay Complex is a quiet residential complex in Wynyard Quarter on the western side of the Viaduct Harbour within walking distance to many amazing cafes and restaurants, but far enough way to be peaceful. The location offers easy access to many of the city's highlights and conveniences on your doorstep. Stroll around the Viaduct Basin or over the Te Wero Pedestrian Bridge for a drink at one of the many cafes and restaurants in the area or up to the vibrant North Wharf where you can visit the Fish Market, the Waterfront Theatre and the Viaduct Events Centre. Enjoy some fantastic walks nearby with the lush Victoria Park down the road and beautiful Westhaven board walk around the corner. Getting Around: You are just 10 minutes walk from Britomart transport hub with buses and trains going in every direction. There are city link routes that will get you all around the city and to popular/in demand spots like the Skytower, the Auckland museum, hospital and domain, K road, and Mount Eden (Eden park stadium). We recommend using Ubers, they are fast especially when catching from the city and well price Other Things to Note: Cot and high chair are available on request. Please ensure all lights are turned off when you leave the apartment, and the windows are closed and the door securely locked behind you. The owner accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to any of the guests' property while the guest is onsite. Also, please note that you will be responsible for yourselves and your guests and will take all necessary care and precautions to ensure their safety at all times and you agree that any damages will be your sole responsibility and the owners and Urban Butler are exempt from all actions, claims, suits, demands, costs and damages arising from any loss or damages suffered to or by any person or property caused by the use of the premises by you or your guests. Please also note, that any lost keys will be charged for and if you lock yourselves out, the cost of a spare key to be delivered in office hours will be borne by you. Out of hours fees will also apply. Bond: A security bond is held for any incidental damage or charges. Please inform us of any issues. Breakages: Please inform us of any breakages during your stay. We won’t charge for minor cutlery/glassware etc. Lost Keys: Keys and swipes are expensive, please be careful with them. If lost we will need to claim the cost from your security bond. Left Luggage: Unfortunately, we cannot store luggage at the apartment. There are a couple of options for leaving your luggage around the CBD before your check-in time of 3pm. The best option is The Luggage Hotel at 145 Quay Street (Shed 23 Princes Wharf) - www.theluggagehotel.com Another left luggage solution is available at the downtown Ferry Building, located on Quay Street. Ask the staff at the service desk for assistance. The last suitable option for smaller luggage is the self-service locker at the Britomart train station located on Commerce Street. No parties or noise after 10pm: Please respect your neighbours. Security call out fees will be charged from your security bond. No more than 4 people to stay at the apartment. Abide by Body Corporate: See separate document in the apartment for your convenience. Fire and Evacuation Procedures: Please refer to the procedures on the back of the apartment door.
