The property is located in the Vulcan complex, set across from Victoria Park with an edgy aesthetic to its tower design. The Space: The Vulcan is across the road from Victoria Park giving you spectacular views all day long, the living area has an open layout so that everyone can enjoy the gorgeous, green outlook together. The apartment emanates a relaxing home energy, with calming monochromatic colours and deluxe furnishings throughout, the windows are double glazed so its lovely and peaceful to unwind after a long day of exploring or working. The open living area is convenient and friendly for any kind of stay, a spacious and well appointed space to enjoy with your guests. The TV has live freeview channels and youtube access for listening to music. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare your favouirte meal or try out a great new recipe! The bedrooms both have incredibly dreamy beds and pillows accompanied by high quality linen to help you feel relaxed and rejuvenated everyday. The master bedroom has an ensuite with a rainfall shower head and a walk in wardrobe, the second bedroom also has a wardrobe so you can unpack and feel at home. Please note: The carpark is not onsite but in the building next door, so you will need to walk 170m from the exit of the carpark to the entrance of the apartment. Guest Access: The whole apartment is yours to enjoy! Please note that check in is between 3pm and 5pm Monday to Friday :) The Neighborhood: The Vulcan is situated on the edge of the inner city, with many highlights and conveniences within close walking distance! Wynyard Quarter and the Viaduct Basin are just a short (flat) stroll away - enjoy walking around the marina and seeing the impressive boats! Both areas also offer great restaurants for whatever your vibe and taste. The Sky Tower and federal St dining precinct are up the road where you can enjoy a hip tourist vibe and fantastic views of the wider Auckland area if you make it up the tower! There are fantastic walks in the area with Victoria Park just across the road and Westhaven boardwalk near by. With easy access to the Link Bus route, Britomart train station and Fullers Ferry Terminal – and just a short stroll to Parnell and Ponsonby – you can even ditch the car. It’s the perfect location to really embrace city living. Getting Around: The location is fantastic for walking and exploring the nearby attractions, with beautiful walks along the waterfront, the viaduct basin, Wynyard quarter and west haven marina are all only a 5 minute walk leading you to spectacular views with restaurants along the way. If you need to get further out of the city there are bus stops all around you with multiple destinations and the Britomart transport hub only a 10-minute walk with trains and buses going in every direction near and far. We recommend using Ubers in the city, they are well priced and efficient especially when catching within the CBD. Other Things to Note: Cots and high chairs are available on request. Please ensure all lights are turned off when you leave the apartment, the windows are closed and the door securely locked behind you. The owner accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to any of the guests' property while the guest is onsite. Also, please note that you will be responsible for yourselves and your guests and will take all necessary care and precautions to ensure their safety at all times and you agree that any damages will be your sole responsibility. Please also note, that any lost keys will be charged for and if you lock yourselves out, the cost of a spare key to be delivered in office hours will be borne by you. Out of hours fees will also apply. Breakages: Please inform us of any breakages during your stay. We won’t charge for minor cutlery/glassware etc. Lost Keys: Keys and swipes are expensive, please be careful with them. If lost we will need to claim the cost from your security bond. Left Luggage: Unfortunately, we cannot store luggage at the apartment. There are a couple of options for leaving your luggage around the CBD before your check-in time of 3pm. The best option is The Luggage Hotel at 145 Quay Street (Shed 23 Princes Wharf) - Another left luggage solution is available at the downtown Ferry Building, located on Quay Street. Ask the staff at the service desk for assistance. The last suitable option for smaller luggage is the self-service locker at the Britomart train station located on Commerce Street. No parties or noise after 10pm: Please respect your neighbours. Security call out fees will be charged from your security bond. No more than 4 people to stay at the apartment. Abide by Body Corporate: See separate document in the apartment for your convenience. Fire and Evacuation Procedures: Please refer to the procedures on the back of the apartment door. Interaction with Guests: We will be available by messenger throughout your stay :)
