Shower room: With shower cubicle and toilet.. Electric heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Laundry service available on request with the owner (at cost). Terrace with sitting-out area and garden furniture. 1 dog welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (livestock). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Set in the beautiful East Sussex countryside, on the outskirts of the little hamlet of Three Oaks, you will find The Studio. An ideal spot for walkers and cyclists, in fact anyone that appreciates the countryside, conveniently located on the 1066 walk that commemorates the Battle of Hastings and following in the footsteps of William the Conqueror. The seaside town of Hastings is 4½ miles away, with the Old Town offering quirky antique and vintage clothing shops and St Clements Caves where you can discover Hastings smuggling past and of course the pier! Pick up some fish and chips from one of the little shops by the sea front and sample the day’s catch. The medieval Cinque Port town of Rye with its cobbled streets and tea rooms provides a good day out and you can climb the bell tower at St Marys church for some stunning views. Explore the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds Nature Reserve. Visit Pett Level at low tide and see the 6000 year old sunken forest revealed when the tide goes out, and a great spot for investigating rock pools, making sandcastles or simply listen to the waves lapping. Camber Sands, as its name implies, offers miles of golden sand dunes to stroll through or book yourself a kite surfing lesson if you’re feeling energetic. A range of creative and well-being activities such as painting in the landscape, creative writing, foraging, yoga and therapeutic massages can all be arranged by the owner. Golf and fishing are available close by. Good rail connections to London for further sightseeing opportunities. Beach 5 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
