Pokolbin Farm House - Farm Stay

Very old 3 bedroom farm house in rural setting, right in the heart of the Hunter Valley Wine Country. This is a unique property, and given its age it does lack many conveniences of modern buildings but it is full of rustic charm. Furnished with homely furnishings and comfy beds we do our best to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. The space Our very old farmhouse consists of 3 guest bedrooms and is located on 70 acres right in the heart of the Hunter Valley Vineyards. The house is over 100 years old and is mostly in its original state, so unless you have an appreciation for the simple things in life this house may not be entirely suitable for you. Modern comforts include reverse cycle air conditioner in the lounge room only, fans and electric blankets in bedrooms. There are 2 open fireplaces to keep you warm and cozy on the cooler nights. Being a farm, you may wake to the sound of Kookaburra's, Magpies, various native parrots, and a rooster to let you know the sun is up. The sound of the hens cackling will let you know the fresh eggs are ready to be collected for breakfast. We also have horses and Kangaroo's that visit most mornings and evenings.
