The property includes 2 well appointed houses that are well lit and furnished for your comfort. The houses are connected but still allow for privacy and there is a shared yard and courtyard to allow for family/friends to spend time together. Whether it is coffee in the courtyard or a family meal, the cozy privacy and warmth will make you feel right at home. We offer a free shuttle service from the Weimar/Erfurt airport or from the Weimar train station. Equipment: The 2 houses combined are 2,500 Square Ft. In the open and modern kitchens you can prepare your meals just like home. Included in the kitchens are a dishwasher, microwave, fridge, coffee/expresso machine and a full compliment of pots/pans, flatware and silverware. The loft house boasts with it's beautiful vaulted ceiling, open rafter design and open floor plan. The living rooms have convertible sofas to accommodate extra people. The ceramic tiled bathrooms are fully equipped and towels and amenities are provided. Radiant floor heating, Satellite TV, DVD player, High speed wireless internet and stereo contribute to making a stay inside comfortable. There are 2 sun terraces with deck chairs. Situation: The holiday houses are situated near Weimar and can easily be reached by public transportation. By car, you'll reach the center of Weimar and the Goethe or Schiller house within 5 minutes. The holiday houses are surrounded by large gardens and the national park of Ettersberg. The district inspired the painter Lionel Feininger and some of his paintings including the church of Gaberndorf in the years 1919 to 1933.
