Upper Cottage, double room

Upper Cottage has its own entrance to the side with stairs that lead to a double, open plan apartment with facilities similar to that of Lower Cottage. The Queens is a freehold, family run pub set in the heart of the historic town of Ludlow. Tim & Jane have been at The Queens since December 1999 and in that time have adapted and renovated the premises extensively. We have been in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide for three consecutive years and serve good local ales. Our beautiful vaulted ceiling restaurant is at the rear of the pub. Our open plan design means you have a good atmosphere throughout, but the restaurant is set back from the bar to allow quieter dining. We serve good, homemade food which is locally sourced where possible. The restaurant is open lunchtimes & evenings 6 days a week. The Queens has an ‘Open Plan’ design with three distinct areas that merge nicely together. The ‘Red’ bar has a tiled area where dogs are welcome and comfy leather sofas for you to relax on. The main bar has solid oak flooring and low beamed ceilings which give a cosy atmosphere. This flows, down a couple of steps, into our beautiful, vaulted roof restaurant. Please note that due to the current Covid situation we are unable to provide parking as we have erected a marquee on our car parking area. This is for people who feel more comfortable outside.
