The area is peaceful and quiet, is ideal for couples, families with one or two children (extra bed). The property consists of two levels and the location is ideal to enjoy Crete beaches and Cretan culture as long as to explore the island as the best departure point for your day trips. Apanemia offers accommodation with a garden and a balcony overlooking the White Mountains & the village, down to the sea. The house preserves your privacy you can enjoy stay there and because of the construction structure (stone made) is cool during the summer and warm during the winter. It is equipped with anything you need to prepare your own meals and on the back yard there is also a stone oven where you can cook in wood fire food or you can use our chef to experience cretan cooking lessons or to enjoy an evening in the house with food prepared by a professional chef. The house has two yards, one from the front side and one from the back side, offering a very pleasant atmosphere for reading, enjoying meals, relaxing under the shadow of the trees that exists there. On the first level is a big living and dining room with traditional furniture (handmade by local craftsmen) and fireplace, two comfortable sofas, fully equipped kitchen for cooking up your favorite meals (including dishwasher & washing machine), television and bathroom with shower. On the second level, Steps leading to the bedroom with one double bed. Vamos is only 26 km south-east of Chania town, the village remains untouched by tourism offering the typical view of an authentic Cretan village. The village is surrounded by wild scenery of mountains and lush greenery. In the wider region, there are many monasteries to visit, such as the Monastery of Agios Georgios, the 13th-century church of Virgin Mary and the church of Agios Nikolaos in the square of the village.
