The best thing to do in the town is to simply take a stroll along the promenade or one of the cobbled streets in town. There are a number of fascinating villas and ruins of a few castles that dot the shoreline. There are also a few churches like the Church of San Rocco and the Church of San Giulio that have been gracing the landscape for centuries. Guests can also take scenic trails to nearby mountains. The apartment is perfect for exploring the famous destinations and lake towns of Lake Maggiore, such as Stresa (14 minutes) and the Borromean Islands, Arona (11 minutes), Villa Taranto (35 minutes), and even Orta San Giulio on Lake Orta through a scenic inland route.
