The Perigord Noir region, renowned for its food, has many riverside restaurants and a twice weekly market in Montignac. There is canoeing, cycle hire, walking and riding locally. The Dordogne river, La Roque-Gageac and Domme are an easy drive. A wonderful area dotted with golden stone houses and fields of maize and sunflowers. Fly via Brive (30 minutes away) or Bergerac.
